Although the second largest country in Southeast Asia, Myanmar hasn’t shared the spotlight with other nations, but it has more to offer than the world knows. It hardly becomes part of a Southeast Asian tour itinerary, and most of us are left oblivious of the wonders of this nation.
A group of travellers called The Flying Man were able to create a compelling documentary about a woman who set off to see more of the world, although it meant stepping out of her comfort zone. She had gone somewhere “new, unknown, unseen, and unfamiliar,” in search of a treasure. And a treasure she found.
The video takes us to the outlying districts of Myanmar – unexplored and unexposed. It shows us how the locals have refused to succumb to the modernization of almost every nation, keeping their treasures intact for the world to see- and acknowledge. It depicts how simple and happy they are living their lives- one with nature, living in the moment, something most of us are now unable to do.
